Open Door Productions are films by award-winning San Francisco-based Director/Producer Tom Shepard.

In production in 2017, Unsettled follows the stories of refugees and asylum-seekers who flee persecution in their countries of origin to seek safer lives in the U.S. Unsettled is Directed/Produced by Tom Shepard, Produced by Jen Gilomen, a Co-Production with the Independent Television Service (ITVS), funded in part by Jonathan Logan Family FoundationCalifornia Humanities, and Horizons Foundation, and fiscally sponsored by The Field and Tides Foundation.
